The NEOGENRE project aims to understand the role of gender in the organization of European Neolithic populations, involving some of the first complex, ostensibly hierarchical societies (5th millennium BC) in Western Europe.
I will be focusing on monitoring and comparing the dietary patterns between inhabitants of two regions, the Paris and Rhine Basins, using a multi-isotopic approach (in collaboration with E. Herrscher - LAMPEA, Aix-Marseille Université, and V. Balter - ENS de Lyon).
